National Lottery Visit
Last month, we were paid a visit by the National Lottery. You may remember that we received over £44,000 in funding courtesy of the National Lottery Community Fund and this visit enabled them to experience first-hand just how vital our service is for the local community. The team started their day with us with a chat with Lesley at the office about Dial-a-Ride’s work, before it was off on the bus to join the Talgarth Lunch Club. Here they were able to discuss with members the ways in which our service helps them personally and see our vehicles in action taking attendees home. We were the only charity in Wales to be chosen for a visit by The National Lottery team and feel honoured to have been recognised in this way. We would like to extend our warmest thanks to them again and a very happy birthday, as, like us, they are celebrating their 30th anniversary this year.
